My cute li'l pouch

This is most recent creation.
It has been long awaiting to become
(as in i tot of making it for a long time but it nv happened, haha)
well, if you're wondering wat it is... its a small li'l felt pouch which i put all my tissues some of my mini deos and stuff.
i really like the cute li'l pink button on top of it.
and actually the cover wasnt there for a long time aft i made it.
cuz i wanted to show it to everyone!
haha

Pouches made from the heart

My good friend Jun Yi came back from Aussie for abt a week plus and cried to me for help.
he asked what to get for his gfren before he flew back, and he wanted to make something.
and me being the handicrafty person decides to suggest to make a hp pouch for her,
he was really willing to sit down and learn how to do it with me.
but at last most of it was done by me.
(if he did it himself he wont make it to bring it back to aussie.
onr of my 1st few creations with felt cloth but satisfying.
nice to have a new inspiration to ideas coming from jun yi too.
(cant believe we sat down in the middle of the afternoon on the cathay to sew in the middle of the food court)

Fake Wedding

These are on-set pictures and the making of my creation: a fake wedding. this was for a recent drama production that i was involved in as a 2nd asst director.
i had a really swell time trying to make the decor and and trying to make this wedding as real as possible.
the fact that tt i've nv been to any other wedding other than malay ones, i kinda juz refered to whatever to what i saw on tv.
i had to stay in office til late to do everythin by myself but it was all worth it.

Maria's Hantaran

For those of you who don't know, 'hantaran' is something that is being sent over to the groom's or bride's house as gift exchange into the new family. during the payment of dowry
Engagement and wedding day.
Anyways, this was actually Qamariah's final year school project that I helped with through one night.
It was really painful but was glad to be of help.
It wasn't the intention but it turned out to look like a wedding gift (because of her 'laces' theme)
If you can't make out what it is, it's actually a stack of pamphlets in a clear plastic box which was nicely-decorated with laces.
Good job me and Maria..

Ext Hard Disk Pouch

The thing that motivated me to make this pouch was my hard drive. this is the first time im actually sewing with felt so i was still kinda experimenting.
but u gotta admit, it's a good first time man, hah.
turned out quite ok actually and i was getting new ideas as i was slowly makin it.
i love the gold button!! conributed by my mum.
first time im tryin out exterior stitches and diff colored thread (partly inspired by kooky's plush toys)
but i love it, it's so soft and colorful, hope it keeps my ext hard drive safe n secure...

Gingerbread house

This gingerbread house is actually made from big pieces of cardboard, pasted colored papers and also poster paints.
i tin it took at least a week to finish, (of course whilst i was working).
it started from a sketch, to a computer graphic, into a real life size model.
its about 2m plus tall at the tip of the roof.
really interesting experience figuring out how to make this thing by myself and making it stand up by itself as it was s'posed to be a prop used for an english drama.
(catch it on Parental Guidance season 2!)

Toothbrush Bracelets

With the help of Kooky, we made this collection of toothbrush bracelets.
just simply plastic toothbrushes being put in the oven and bent using tools and oven mits.
u get these colorful creations tt u can wear on ur wrist and create a new fashion statement

1st ever shawl

Thanks to Kooky (aka Hakim), i learned how to knit and made my first creation. a Shawl! by knitting...
i took a few days to finish this but still, its my first time.
not bad for a first time i'd say.. haha.
i gave it to my fren junyi before he went off to Aussie for studies.
apparently it hasn't been used yet cuz its not THAT cold over there. (at least at brisbane)
anyways, i loved it..
n he loved it.. tt's all tt really matters right?
